Realize that our elected officials’ options may be somewhat limited at this point in the process.
- That being said, just because there is not a vote at this time doesn’t mean we can’t ask our elected officials to take a leadership role. This project involves so much speculation that it’s easy to believe the worst or best-case scenario. When in doubt, we need to ask “why don’t we know that?” Our commissioners need to help us get answers.
- Pressure Selig Enterprises to open up their process – meeting with small groups with no press is not a good faith effort to engage the community, especially when these meetings are based on renderings versus actual plans.
